Kaleem ed LeaderBoard to serve as a relatable role model for ethnically diverse youth in rugby, inspired by the power of representation he experienced growing up. As captain of the Great Britain Rugby 7s team and a Muslim athlete, he’s aware of the limited presence from ethnically diverse communities in his sport and wants to help improve inclusivity, including understanding cultural needs like Ramadan. He aims to broaden his understanding of different faiths and communities and use his platform to influence sporting organisations positively. Kaleem also hopes to develop leadership skills and connect with others facing similar challenges as an elite athlete. 45736v
