All Gold awards are valid for two years. Once your school award expires you will need to revalidate this award using similar steps to the first submission. You can check the dates of your award by logging in to the assessment tool. g5d4n
Step 1: School information – Please update the “School Details” on the gold questions template.
Step 2: Action Plan – There should be at least 1 new or ‘in-progress’ action across 4 of the 8 areas of the award that have a due date within the current academic year. If the school is submitting for Gold at the end of the academic year, please ensure at least 1 new or ‘in-progress’ action across 4 of the 8 areas of the award that have a due date added for next academic year.
Step 3: The 3 Questions – The 3 questions should again be answered through the pupil voice. This can be through short video / audio clips, PowerPoint, sway, Word, YouTube or any other method that works for you and your committee.
- What continues to make your School Gold?
- What is something you have changed / improved over the last two years?
- What is the best thing about sport in your school?
Step 4: Evidence – your additional information, or if linking to external content, copy the links into this document and to your awards page. Evidence should be minimal and reflect the information requested in point 3. You are more than welcome to attach evidence you have already put together as part of the schools existing reporting, however we do not need or expect to see high amounts of additional evidence submitted.
Step 5: Re-submit for Gold!
